How can I search for my partner on Indiasmatrimony.com Matrimonials? What are the search options available? |

To search for your matrimonial partner you can use any of the following options:
Quick search allows you to quickly find partners on the basis of their caste, and age.
The Advanced Search option gives you more detailed search options. The additional search options include height, education, profession, marital status, whether they have children, complexion, etc.
Inter Caste Search allows you to find members between inter caste.
Inter religion Search allows you to search for matches based inter religion.
The Special Cases option allows you to search for physically/mentally challenged members.
Caste no bar Search allows you to find members based on caste no bar members. |

In what order are the partner search results listed? |

The matrimonial partner search results get updated continually. The most recent matrimonial profiles are listed at the top so that you can view and get to know the newest members of Indiasmatrimony.com Matrimonials.
The 'Sort by' feature (available in most search pages) helps you choose the order in which your search results are displayed. You can choose any of the following :
- Last login date, Latest profiles, Age – ascending order, Age – descending order

How can I see matrimonial profiles of other members whose partner profiles match with my personal profile? |

Login to your My Home panel. Under "Your Profile Statistics", click the "Members whose requirements you meet" option. You will see a list of members whose matrimonial partner profile matches your personal profile. Currently, this feature is available only to Premium members. |

How does eMatchmaker? match my profile with other members' profiles? |

To illustrate how eMatchmaker™ works lets see an example:
- Geeta is a 22 year old Hindu working girl, slim and fair. She is looking for a 25 year old Hindu boy, working as a computer professional in the USA.
- Sunil is 25 year old, Hindu, and a computer professional in USA. He is looking for a 22 year old Hindu working girl who is slim and fair.
- Thus, there is potential compatibility between Geeta and Sunil i.e. a two-way eMatch has occurred!
The eMatchmaker™ works automatically once you have set up your profile and partner profile. For the eMatchmaker™ service to work effectively, you must include as many details as possible in your personal profile and also specify a partner profile. |

Why am I not getting many messages and/or matches? |

There can be many reasons why you are not receiving many responses. It is possible that your Personal Matrimonials Profile does not match the member's matrimonial requirements specified in his/her Partner Profile. Also, perhaps the member may be more interested in other partners at this time. It is also a good idea to check what the member is looking for in his/her partner, before expressing interest in the member. Also, don't forget to fill in more information about yourself before you express interest. It encourages people to accept your interests expressed. |

Why am I receiving messages and/or matches from members whose profiles don't match my preferences? |

The most likely reason could be that the partner profile that you have created is too vague or is not specific. To receive more suitable matches and contacts make your partner profile more specific to your preferences.

Can I short-list profiles that I like on Indiasmatrimony.com matrimonials and view them later? |

Yes you can. The Bookmarks feature of Indiasmatrimony.com will help you do this.
To use this feature, you need to be logged in. At the top and bottom of every profile, click the option "Add to Bookmark".
To view the list Bookmarks, login to your My Home panel. Under "Your Profile Statistics", click on "Your Bookmarks". You will be shown the list of your favorite profiles. You may also remove profiles from this list. |

The Bookmnark feature lets you save matrimonial profiles that you like, so that you can view them later. |

Can I get a list of members who have visited my profile? |

| Yes. On your My Home page you will see the list of recent visitors to your profile. Similarly, your profile id will appear in the members recent profile visitors list whose profile you have visited. You can deactivate this feature from the My Account page. However, deactivating this feature will also disable you from seeing recent visitors to your profile |
